Here's your opportunity to own your dream home!

On offer by direct owner is a light-filled two bedroom HDB apartment situated in the central Tanjong Pagar district. This high-floor unit at the iconic Pinnacle @ Duxton development offers the best of both worlds with views of the metropolitan landscape and the waterfront. On a clear day, you can even see the sunlight reflected off the buildings in Batam on the horizon. The night view of the Downtown Core is stunning, and is a picturesque backdrop whenever there are fireworks.

The apartment is equipped with a full-sized, open concept working kitchen for those passionate about cooking and take their entertaining seriously. The kitchen is decked out with premium-grade Bosch induction and gas hobs, as well as a top-of-the-line, full-sized SMEG steam/convection combi oven.

If you enjoy having guests over, the dining area can host eight people comfortably and it would still hardly be a squeeze with 10!

The living area is spacious and laps up the morning sun, as do the two bedrooms - and there's not a hint of evening sun.

Originally a three-bedroom (S1 four-room flat), the master bedroom, with its own en-suite, has been enlarged to accommodate a walk-in wardrobe and an in-room living space. The second room is currently used as a study, but will fit a double bed.

Three supermarkets (FairPrice, FairPrice Finest & Cold Storage), a wet market, food centre, shopping mall, numerous top-rated eateries and popular watering holes are at your door, as are Tanjong Pagar and Outram MRT stations. For young families, a primary school is just across the road. Chinatown, Tiong Bahru, CBD and even Clarke Quay are within strolling distance.

It doesn't get better than this for what you are paying for – considering that you'll pay around $800 psf for a HDB flat down at Tiong Bahru, or $1,425-1,650 psf for the condominiums just next door. Just a stone's throw away and you'll be expected to fork out over $2,500 psf! If you are thinking in terms of investment, you can likely yield over 4.5% gross!

Enjoy the pictures below and let us know what you think!

Good height = excellent sea view and city view

There are many views at Pinnacle @ Duxton... from the Sky Garden on the 50th floor or the Sky Bridge on the 26th. Then, there are views like this - right from your own window!

Just look at that magnificent view from the living room! Do you see Batam?
You get a city view too! Can you imagine watching the fireworks?

Living Room

Spacious living room to unwind after a long day at work. Or to catch up on the latest drama serial or blockbuster movie. Being high up means you get a good view from your window and also enjoy the breeze!

Spacious living area: windy and a great view! Did you notice the chalkboard on the left?

Dining Room

Don't be fooled by these pictures. We've fit 10 people comfortably around this (expandable) dining table. We'd love to keep it cosier with a party of 8 though! We were pleasantly surprise at first, too, that a Pinnacle @ Duxton S1 unit's dining room is so cavernous.

Love hosting? Dinner for 8? No worries!

Yet, it's still cosy for a family of 4!

Kitchen: Open Concept

We love to cook and entertain, so we broke down some walls to reveal a spacious kitchen where we can work while making conversation with our guests who enjoy visiting Pinnacle @ Duxton. Don't worry about smoke. The glass panel, strong exhaust hood and ventilation fan keep things under control.

Whip up a storm in this open-concept kitchen with lots of storage space

Zone gourmand. Newbies do not need to apply. Induction and gas hobs, and a strong exhaust hood

Eye-catching spray tap always the talking point

Ample space for prep work and cooking

Look, ma! It flips up for extra space!

Watch the chef at work, or have breakfast at the island

Study

This is the second room in the apartment. It's kept in tact and can easily fit a double bed or a baby's room if that's what you need. There's a bay window here, which gives extra storage and usable space. No evening sun to be seen here, but gets a good dose of morning sun.

Now, nourish your mind in the study

Bedroom

Two rooms turned into one large master bedroom. It fits a king-sized bed with room for night-stands on each side. The extra room also means there's now a walk-in wardrobe and an in-room living space.
There's also an en-suite bathroom which is part of the standard fixture in Pinnacle @ Duxton flats.

Enjoy restful sleep in this double-sized master bedroom

Room for two... or more?

No need to bicker about wardrobe space. Enough for both him and her!

Relax by the bay window - great place to watch the fireworks!

Congrats to our neighbour from block 1F for selling at $900,000!

If you haven't heard, the first unit at Pinnacle at Duxton has been sold at $900,000!

The Straits Times: Pinnacle@Duxton flat fetches resale price of $900,000

From the report (and HDB's resale info page), the said unit is in Block 1F, on 34 to 36 floor. According to the report, the unit has great views of "Sentosa from the balcony, and Orchard from the corner bedroom."

From the below site plan, we can also see that unit 71 also enjoys full-on afternoon sun through the entire unit, and they also get a full view of the Jurong Island refineries and petrochemicals plants.

In contrast, the selling points for our unit are that:
- it is on a higher floor;
- it has a view of southern islands, Sentosa and Batam (no Jurong Island!);
- no afternoon sun;
- it has a view of the city to catch the beautiful fireworks;
- good cross winds (Singapore gets mainly NNE and SSW);
- it has direct lift access to all three-floors of the car park (some blocks only have access to two levels, and some just only the basement!)
